The Office of the Advocate General, Sindh serves as the principal legal advisor and counsel to the Government of Sindh. Its functions include representing the Provincial Government in civil, constitutional, and administrative matters before the High Court of Sindh, the Supreme Court of Pakistan, and other courts and tribunals; rendering legal opinions and advice to government departments and attached offices; defending the legislative and executive actions of the Province; and performing all duties assigned under Article 140 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and other applicable laws.
